The extra hard drive space is not much of a factor to me so other than that, which laptop would you recommend. I think I like HP's more in general but that's because I am familiar with them. Thanks.

I would go for the one with the HD 2600 mobility.Gfx Card/ Laptop Comparison
I don't know what your budget is, but look into the Dell Vostro 1500. I'm sure you could get a hell of a deal, running an nVidia 8600MT, DX10 compatible. I was able to configure one with 4GB of RAM and 160GB, with all of my software needs, for $2600. I'm sure you're not looking at that price range but I think you could get more for your money with this particular Dell.
$2600 is far out of my budget. So which of these 2 graphics cards are actually better? And is there anything else that seperates these 2 laptops other than the cards and the HDD size?
Anyone else have a suggestion?
the 2600 is with the laptop totally maxed out with all the extras, io'm getting a dell inspiron with the 8600m Gt with 521mb vram,2 gigs of ram and 2.0ghz core 2 duo t7400 processor for only 1200.
