I'm sure there are guides on the hardware sites. I remember i used a Corsair guide for my first build.
There is one on youtube by 3DGAMEMANIt's called ''How to build a kickass machine'' or something along those lines.It's cut into three different videos. First one is choosing your parts, then actual building, then software set up and overclocking
