Buy 400 GB or 500 GB

I was looking at Tiger Direct (http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2273393%26Sku=TSD-500AS2) and there was a 500 GB drive for $120. The question is it better to buy a 400 GB drive, because the 500GB drive size is only 465 GBs. Comments?Buy 400 GB or 500 GB

Seagate is a pretty trustable brand, so this drive should last however long it takes you to fill it up. Might as well get the bigger one, unless you're really tight on cash.
Well, the price of 500GB drives has come down quite a bit lately. I just got two recently (one to add extra storage for my PVR cable box). The first one I got was the Seagate you linked. It ran very hot in my E-SATA enclosure, so I put it in my PC where it gets good airflow and got a Western Digital that runs much cooler for my PVR... http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231098

In addition to this, you lose some space due to formatting overhead, etc.
