I want to know which out of the two would go best with my setup
E4300 and an Asus P5N-E SLI The Thermaltake CL-P0370 has 8 Heatpipes

The ARCTIC COOLING Freezer 7 Pro has 6 Heatpipes

I heard both of them are pretty good, but if the heatsink has more heatpipes does it technically mean its better? The thermaltake heatsink looks like it has a horrible fan so can I change it? I see some screws and I could replace it with another 92mm fan and get better temps so which one would make sense to go with?Thermaltake CL-P0370 vs Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro
I hear good things about the AC7. I was going to stick it on an E4400 but I got the Big Typhoon VX... wondering if I made a mistake since the AC7 is probably smaller.Thermaltake CL-P0370 vs Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro

What are your temps with the VX? because The VX has horrible mounting for LGA 775 and so its more of an AM2 cooler.
I say drop the fans and go liquid. Liquid is 13x more efficient at removing heat than just blowing hot air around the inside of your case. Let the liquid take it away. This thing rocks on my little 4300. Just follow the LGA775 portions of the mounting instructions...http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835108075
That liquid solution is very expensive, the air cooler will do the job fine, go with thermaltake

No. Air is more safe and is cheaper, sure water cooling does cool a little better but for the price its not worth it at all. If I do go with Thermaltake i am going to get the original Big Typhoon, but im sure if it cools the E4300 well and if it can actually fit in a P5n-E SLI motherboard.
I know I will never go liquid... Its too complicated and pointless when you can get a really nice air coolnig soultion

I installed it on the system I was about to decomission first as a learning curve. No leaks or issues. Went ahead and upgraded. No leaks or issues. Less fans, less noise.
