Change only the mobo with a P35 DS3 $550-600 to spend - What should i buy? *Full details of old computer*
Get a 8600GT instead and get a GA-P35-DS3R.
Will my old computer be able to surpport this?
Personally, I would just save for a new computer. No amount of upgrading will enable that comp. to play games such as Crysis, UT3, and BioShock.Another $600 and you could build a great DX10 rig.
Hmm but i need to upgrade another $600 i am only 15 -.-
Hmm but i need to upgrade another $600 i am only 15 -.-
I know wht you mean. I was in your same position when I was 15 (crap computer, not much money), but by the time my 16th birthday rolled around, I was able to build the comp. in my sig. Trust me, if you can wait, you'll be happy you did.
^^^ i dont get $600 for christmas and birthday and i certainly want be spending 1.200 on a computer unless i have a job; so ill stick with upgrades

How about this, build a whole new system...but dont go overboard with everything...and just get what you need to be able to play games at mid to high...the 8600GT is only 130 bucks...and just upgrade whenever you can. Use your existing HDD and use its OS on the new build...that`ll save some money.
