ok so heres the details, i got this free laptop cause the guy told me the harddrive was bad which is true cause i could hear the harddrive clicking when i started the laptop, so i replaced the harddrive, its still doesnt work.i hit the power button and i can here it startup from the fan noiseand etc, but before anything appears on the screen it just shuts off right away. So like it starts up for amaybe 6-10 seconds and then before anything appears on screen it just shuts down, does anyone know what could be wrong? any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks.help me fix my laptop!

Thanks.sounds like overheating, take it apart and give it a clean, maybe remove the heatsink and apply some new thermal paste[/QUOTE]
