How do I password protect a folder? & other Q's

I have Vista Home Basic btw I have some folders with ''stuff'' that my lil bro shouldnt see and im going out of town for awile and told him he could play games on it but I know hes gonna lurk in al my folders to get me in trouble... Also has any good aftermarket HS/Fans come out for the HD 2900XT yet? How long exactly should I wait before re-applying thermal paste to the CPU? Where can I get a hack to let me use 4gb on 32bit Vista Home Basic?How do I password protect a folder? %26amp; other Q's

i thought you could use 4gbs on 32-bit OS's ( but it uses a bit for the OS itself), the HD 2900XT just kinda came so i would expect one in about 5 months, seeing that i have been looking for one for 8 series card and stilll found none.
You could put it on a thumb drive and delete it off the computer...

why not just hide it somewhere, like in program files or somthing.

Isnt he going to play games on your PC? So wouldnt he look under CoD2? And then....well...........

Burn what ever you have on a data cd or data dvd and delete it from your computer

I left a folder called ''Games'' on the desktop for him but hes not going into the program files im hoping lol

I dont have any of this! Just two HDD's
no no what you do is make a folder anyware call it pronz (i presume thats the kind of stuff you want hidden) and then move all your stuff into it that you want hidden. then right click the folder then click properties and tick the hidden attribute and press ok. now go to my documents, then go on the tools dropdown menu, then the view tab and uncheck show hidden folders or check show hidden folders to see it again. tada!

my bro is 14 but hes dumb as f*** when it comes to computers he just plays games really... his build is a AMD X2 3800+ 2gb and a X1650XT and its OK I even built it for him lol
what happens if he does a file search for all videos

Trust me its hard for little kids to unhide folders. exception for your little sister
another thing is to edit the video with notepad and save it as school.txt instead of hardcore.wmv something along those lines. then change them back when you get your pc back
