Probably high settings at 1280x1024 and very smooth.LOL another Crysis thread...
I had a Pentium D 2.8 Ghz CPU in my old Dell xps 400 with 2gb 666mhz DDR2 RAM. It was less than satisfactory..but playable.
I don't get that much money to spend on my computer, so I stuck my 8800 gts into my dell until I finished building the rig in my sig. With that said, the Pentium D will bottleneck your GPU significantly until you pick up a new CPU. Aside from turning down a few CPU intensive settings, games will still look amazing (played fear on max graphical settings, but had to turn down the CPU settings). As for how newer games will run on it, idk, but I don't imagine you'd have any trouble getting them to run at a smooth frame rate and still look good.

Buy the game and find out......
..Why upgrade the RAM when the CPU is holding you back?

step up the gpu ram, get 640 mb of ram. trust me youll regret not doing it.
How is the CPU holding him back? Its duel core albeit a crappy one but still... you wont notice much of an upgrade from that to a X2/c2d

[/QUOTE] there willl be a slight bottleneck but not major, cpu's dont do much in games anymore because graphics cards have GPU's now, as long as its a dual core then you dont have to worry much.
