How well could my laptop run Counterstrike?

2 GB RAM, 8600M GT, Core 2 Duo 1.5 Ghz, and a 15.4'' screen with 1280 x 800 resolution. If I got say Counterstrike Source, could I run it pretty well on medium or high? How well could my laptop run Counterstrike?

u could run crysis at med-high, i havea round the same lappy, better cpu and ram tho..
I tried running Dirt the other day, and I couldn't run it at Ultra, and I didn't try High because I still didn't think it would work. I think I was running it at Medium fine or something. But is DiRT a demanding game, or I can still run many good high end games?
you'll max out CSS no probs, did you try DIRT with AA on?
Old CS - your graphics card will eat it.CS Source - probably on medium-lower high settings.

Oh, and while I'm here, I also wanted to ask, could my laptop run Oblivion at HIGH or ULTRA???
